Diablo Canyon, California's last working nuclear reactor, will close by 2025 - and unlike the state's other shuttered nuclear reactor, it's not going to be replaced by any new fossil fuel-fired power plants. LinkedIn started out in the living room of co-founder Hoffman in 2002 and was officially launched on May 5 in 2003. And the Microsoft's stock was down by 3.2 percent. Rajan also said there's no trade-off between inflation and growth in the long run. Mark Webber's hopes of victory took a hit when the #1 Porsche was called in to fix a light panel on the vehicle during the night, before a cooling system problem saw it back in the garage soon after. All three contenders had kept up a relentless pace through the night and into the last phase of the race before the second Toyota lost time to have bodywork repaired. (more...)

The charges were announced by Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, who has overseen a series of insider trading prosecutions that have resulted in 107 people being charged and 81 being convicted since 2009. The spokesman declined to say what the note said, nor how Valvani died. Valvani had pled not guilty to five counts that included securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy. (more...)

This will be a beneficial and long-term move for India as it is majorly dependent on imports of defence equipment. He wants 70 per cent of hardware to be manufactured domestically by the turn of the decade. (more...)

All four bills were rejected despite a survey revealing around 90 percent of United States citizens support the reforms. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), that would increase money for the background check system, prod states to send more records on banned gun buyers to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and revamp language prohibiting some people with mental health issues from buying a gun. The companies were quick to state that LinkedIn wasn't facing radical change, saying in the statement that the website "will retain its distinct brand, culture and independence", with Weiner remaining CEO.
