Long serpentine queues were witnessed outside ATM booths across the nation for the second day in a row on Saturday as the people rushed to withdraw money for basic necessities after demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes. It was when they opened it, as Mr Modi was speaking, that they learnt about the new 500-rupee note, the paper added.
