OH due to release unemployment, jobs data for September

The number of unemployed workers in OH in September was 275,000, up 4,000 people from August. Just as encouragingly, the number of people who live in Flagler County and hold jobs increased in September by 350, to 42,703, an increase of 1,675 job-holders over the year, or 4 percent. (more...)

Georgia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5.1 percent in September, according to the state Department of Labor. The jobless rate in MA has fallen 1.2 percent over the past year. Over the course of year, almost 19,000 people have fallen out of the labor force, according to the Labor Dept. Employment has fallen 23,197 while unemployment was up 4,391. (more...)

BAT has been a shareholder of Reynolds for 12 years, and now it is offering $20 billion in cash and $27 billion in shares for the American company. The proposal represents an enterprise value of $93 billion for Reynolds . Reynolds American shares reacted to the news, rising almost 15% to $54.38 in early trading Friday. (more...)

This may go without saying since it seemed pretty obvious from Nintendo's latest Switch console reveal, but the docking device on which the Nintendo Switch rests when not in use isn't actually the "main unit" after all. SAP SE has a 12-month low of $71.39 and a 12-month high of $92.76. The Company is also engaged in digital commerce and is an enterprise cloud company. SAP S/4HANA has 4,100 customers now. On Thursday, government helicopters dropped leaflets over eastern Aleppo, saying that this is "the road to the nation". The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said there had been clashes overnight along frontline neighbourhoods of rebel-held east Aleppo: in Jab al-Jalabi in the Old City, in al-Ithaa and in Salah al-Din. Tennessee's preliminary unemployment rate for September was 4.6 percent, up from the August revised rate of 4.4, Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced Thursday. Meanwhile, employers say they cut 3,100 jobs in September. The jobless rate was still half a percentage point below the state's average in 2015, which was 5.1 percent. (more...)
