The U.N. Security Council strongly condemned the latest launch, calling it a "grave violation" of resolutions banning North Korea from using ballistic missile technology. A North Korean official, Hwang Yong-nam, who is authorized to speak about the country's missile program, told NBC News that Pyongyang has the capability to reach the USA mainland with a rocket, despite the Pentagon's analysis that it can not yet. Iowa's average soybean yield was unchanged at 58 bushels per acre, breaking a previous high, and corn was increased two bushels from last month's estimate to a record 198 bushels per acre. Many farmers reported waiting for crops to dry down in the field before harvesting and concentrating on corn rather than soybeans. Wheat futures are trading rangebound early Tuesday morning.
