Petrol and diesel prices rose 5 cents a litre following increases at the pump on Tuesday and Thursday, the AA said. Petrol will now cost Rs 66.06 as against the previous Rs 64.72 and diesel will cost Rs 54.98 against the previous Rs 52.61. Diesel rates went up by Rs 2.37 per litre. Petrol is the most expensive it has been since May, while diesel prices are the highest since July a year ago. (more...)
