It was bombshell news for the millions of users of the popular site. Yahoo said it was working with law enforcement on the matter. In the United Kingdom it is believed data on about eight million user accounts was taken in the hack. Schwartz slammed Yahoo for failing to discover the data breach until a few months ago. All affected users will be notified about the theft and advised how to protect themselves, according to the company. (more...)

Energy Aspects estimated the net effect of the production cuts would be around 400,000 barrels a day as output from Libya and Nigeria remained uncertain. At the most, the possible deal would shave off 700,000 barrels a day - some 2 percent of overall production. A suspicious device found in a backpack at a train station in New Jersey exploded as a bomb squad was attempting to disarm it with a robot. A large explosion was heard early on Monday near the transit station, NBC News reported . Police are probing a link to other explosions in NY and New Jersey. The home was roughly one mile from the site where investigators found five suspicious devices, one of which exploded, outside a train station. (more...)
