Australia said Sunday that its planes were among the coalition aircraft over Deir al-Zour. Russia's Defence Ministry said conditions in Syria were deteriorating, adding that it believed the ceasefire had been breached 199 times by rebels and saying the United States would be responsible if it were to collapse. "There is no evidence of an worldwide terrorism connection", Cuomo said. He was more straight-forward in calling the bombing an act of terror. Cuomo on September 18 said that "a bomb exploding in NY is obviously an act of terrorism", but said there was no evidence of a link to worldwide terrorism. (more...)

The man who shot President Ronald Reagan is scheduled to leave a Washington D.C. Hinckley also wounded police officer Thomas Delahanty, Secret Service agent Timothy McCarthy, and, most severely, press secretary James Brady . Ahmed Adan, who is Somali, says his son came to the US 15 years ago and was was a student at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The St. Cloud mall remained on lockdown following the attack, and authorities eventually released those inside. Secretary of State John Kerry announced on August upon welcoming the 10,000 refugee that the us has hosted over 3.2 million refugees since 1975. The Obama administration plans to raise the number of refugees admitted to the U.S.to 110,000 in the 2017 fiscal year starting October 1, from 85,000 this fiscal year, according to an annual refugee report to Congress obtained by The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. United States nonfarm payrolls rose by 151,000 jobs in August after an upwardly revised 275,000 increase in July, with job cuts in manufacturing and construction, the Labor Department said. Over the last several years, the government's August payrolls estimates have been weak prior to upward revisions.
