He added : "The BBC operates in a competitive market and this will not make it easier for the BBC to retain the talent the public love". - The BBC would be required to publish the names of the now 109 on-air hosts and performers, including news anchors, sports announcers, talk show and entertainment show hosts, with salaries in excess of £150,000 ($198,000), with pay initially disclosed in bands of £50,000 ($66,000). Washington also experienced an increase to $58,085 (up 3.6 percent). In 2007, the median household was earning about $2,500 more than they are today; back in the heady dot-com days of 1999, they took home over $3,000 more. Here's a summary of the new national estimates released by the bureau on Tuesday. This is the first annual increase in median household income since 2007, the year before the most recent recession. On Monday morning, the Woodlands hotel in Chennai was attacked allegedly by a fringe Tamil group, who hurled petrol bombs, damaging glass panes and windows. Buses, taxis and auto-rickshaws went off the roads. Metro Rail services have been temporarily stopped. Passengers going to or alighting at railway junctions and bus terminals in the city and the airport on the outskirts are able to get transport as trains, inter-state buses and flights are operating on schedule. The major train-building company Alstom is now locked in battle with the French government over the closure of a locomotive factory. The video shows various parts of the ship, including the capstan, the bell, exhaust pipe and wooden plankings. The wreck lies on the seabed about 24 meters (80ft) down in pristine condition. The ACS estimates are based on a random sample of about 3 percent of US households. For middle-class workers, there has been an increase in employment and modest wage growth. Just 8.8% of Americans ages 65 and older were living in poverty last year-down from 10% in 2014 and among the lowest senior poverty rates of the past 60 years, the U.S. (more...)

"Yeah, you wish you could score with 0 seconds left and win the game but that's not how it works all the time". Luck said the clock management is easy to question in hindsight. (more...)
