The Indian reservation in North Dakota is the site of the largest gathering of Native Americans in more than 100 years. Bankruptcy Judge John K. Sherwood in Newark, New Jersey, on Friday granted Hanjin Shipping protection under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code, which shields foreign companies from lawsuits by U.S. The 381-acre former naval property brings in about $81 million for the port, but the lease expires in 2027. Though Hanjin is just one floundering South Korean shipping company, its potential to create holiday shopping chaos should not be understated. (more...)

Deepa registered a throw of 4.26m to start of with but her second throw was 4.49 while the third was 4.41. The High Court, however, upheld her selection and the multi-talented Malik went on to create history with her very first throw in Rio. India's core consumer price inflation in August was little changed at around 4.7 percent year-on-year from around 4.6 percent the previous month, according to two analysts on Monday. In July a year ago, there was a growth of 4.3 per cent. Cumulatively, the growth during the first four months of this fiscal is at (-) 0.2 per cent. Soybean production was forecast at 4.201 billion bushels, up 3% from 4.060 billion bushels forecast in August and up 7% from 3.929 billion bushels a year ago.
