Thursday's unusual 12-minute House session session instead morphed into unconvincing theater in response to Trump's veto musings about the package, which was negotiated by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Trump's behalf. If Trump takes no action within 10 days of receipt, excluding Sundays, it would automatically become law unless Congress is adjourned. At that time, President Trump was expected to sign the bill.
