Tata Group is seeking to board Air India again after almost seven decades, with the salt-to-software conglomerate set to participate in the bidding process for the national carrier, sources said on Monday. A source with knowledge of the matter said the Tata Group has submitted an official expression of interest for the airline. Willing and continuing employees will be offered 51% in the consortium that acquires the airline. (more...)

The incident was also reported and confirmed by Virgin Galactic, mentioning that the spacecraft's pilots namely CJ Sturckow and Dave Mackay has landed safely despite of aborting the test flight. A man in Las Vegas was arrested, Saturday, after successfully climbing onto the wing of an airplane as it was preparing to depart from McCarran International Airport. As officers approach him, he falls and is taken into custody. LVMD believe the man was not a passenger of Flight 1367, or any other, but rather hopped over a perimeter fence of the airport and ran around before deciding to climb onto a plane. (more...)

Russia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Australia were missing from the party - which was only open to countries making substantial new climate pledges. The difference between food (13.7 percent) and non-food (16.2 percent) inflation was just 2.5 percentage points, while in the Ashanti Region, the difference was 9.4 percentage points (5.7 percent compared to 15.1 percent). The average consumer price inflation over the last 12 months was 2.8%, compared to the previous 12 months. In the 12 months through November, the PPI advanced 0.8% after increasing 0.5% in October. The regional lender said that developing Asia is now forecast to contract by 0.4% in 2020, less than the 0.7% contraction envisaged in the Asian Development Outlook 2020 Update in September. "Safe, effective, and timely vaccine delivery in developing economies will be critical to support the reopening of economies and the recovery of growth in the region", ADB Chief Economist Yasuyuki Sawada said in a statement.
