Caesars shares plummet as it faces $11 billion in lawsuits

The lawsuits are the biggest obstacle left to getting Caesars's operating unit, Caesars Entertainment Operating Co., out of bankruptcy. Caesars' bankrupt operating unit has previously been able to protect its parent company from bondholder litigation demanding that Caesars honor more than $11 billion in guarantees of the unit's debt. Two people died in the crash, including St. John District Fire Chief Spencer Chauvin, and over 40 more were injured. Louisiana state troopers and St. The owner of the bus is Kristina's Transportation LLC/AM Party Bus out of Jefferson, LA. It's not known who chartered the bus, Matey said. Though Iraq is enthusiastic to play a key role in the upcoming OPEC meeting, the country isn't ready to give-up its objective of increasing market share and ramping up its output. The comments about high oil output have dampened expectations that OPEC and outside producers such as Russian Federation will agree steps next month to support prices such as a production freeze, following the collapse of a similar effort in April. Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said Iran will work with other OPEC members to support oil prices, but it will not back down from its goal of restoring output lost due to years of economic sanctions. As the summer driving season comes to an end, gas prices have been on the rise, including in northern New England. Chicago is the highest at $2.67 per gallon. Many other companies offer a four-day work week, but still require 40 hours of work.
