Investors expect the Fed will cut its benchmark rate, now in a range between 2.25% and 2.5%, by a quarter percentage point at its 30-31 July meeting. It has not received any reports of injury or illness due to the recall . The affected buns were sold under brand names including Great Value, 7-Eleven, Home Pride, IGA, Publix and Wonder. They were sold at stores including Aldi, Dollar General, Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart. If you do, consumers are told to discard the buns or return them to the store for a full refund. (more...)

Some economists have suggested that if the Fed surprises the markets late this month by choosing not to cut rates, it might be because Powell and other Fed policymakers don't want to be seen as having caved to Trump's relentless pressure. "The Fed's consideration of rate cuts is not only about growth but also about inflation, which remains well below target, and inflation expectations, which were breaking to the downside before the Fed signalled the likelihood of cuts". This latest collaboration marks a further step into the healthcare arena with its Alexa technology for the online marketplace giant. Professor Helen Stokes-Lampard, chair of the Royal College of Global Positioning System, said the partnership has the potential to help some patients work out what kind of care they need before considering ... Serial acquirer Cisco's shares are now trading at normal average volumes at $56.49 up $0.30 (+0.53%). Cisco has announced its intent to acquire Acacia Communications . Cisco said the acquisition should help it tap into a trend from chassis-based optical systems to pluggable optics. Maynard, Massachusetts based Acacia, also a Cisco supplier, designs and manufactures high-speed, optical components, and counts telecom service providers and data center operators as customers. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 added 0.4% to 6,689.80. The cooling in U.S. rate fever has seen bonds give back just a little of their huge rally, with yields on two-year Treasuries rising to 1.909 percent from the recent trough of 1.696 percent. Limousin said tax exemptions for jet plane kerosene fuel cost French taxpayers more than €3.7 billion per year.
