Tesla Inc . asked some suppliers to return a portion of its payments to them in an attempt by the electric-car maker to turn a profit, the Wall Street Journal reported , citing a memo sent to a supplier last week. The company had trouble with its heavily automated assembly line indoors and needed to set up the outside line to boost production. The firm is less focused on one-time reductions for this quarter as it is on reaching a "more sustainable long-term cost basis". (more...)

Fortified milk has also been fully exempted from GST. ► GST on 17 items used by middle class viz paints, refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, storage water heaters, TVs up to 68 cm, mixer grinder, perfumes, cosmetics, shavers, vacuum was reduced from 28 to 18%.
