Brent crude futures lost 0.8 percent to $51.5 per barrel on persistent oversupply worries despite a bigger-than-expected drawdown in USA crude inventories. Volatility gauges from the United States to Japan rose after president Donald Trump said in response to a Washington Post report on North Korea's nuclear capabilities that further threats from the country would be met with " fire and fury ". September West Texas Intermediate crude fell $0.97, or 2%, to $48.59 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. They suggest the USA and China, a North Korean ally, could work together to de-escalate the situation. Nervous investors drove shares lower earlier in the week, after President Trump declared Tuesday that the US would react with " fire and fury " to further nuclear provocations from North Korea. Shares of Apple, Amazon and Facebook fell more than 2% Thursday. Dillard's slumped 13.8 per cent after the chain booked a loss for the second quarter as increased inventory led to big discounts. The data confidentiality is achieved by encrypting sensitive blockchain data until it is opened in an Intel SGX enclave by a permitted program. IBM released a commercial blockchain product in March of this year, but enterprise computing vendors have been taking baby steps toward adopting this technology. (more...)

Soon after, Vokes had a goal called offside.
