The next version of iOS , which powers the iPhone and iPad, as well as desktop software macOS and the Apple Watch's watchOS were also updated at the firm's annual developer conference, WWDC. The Play3 will set you back $299 (so not much less in terms of cost, and isn't voice-enabled) and the Amazon Echo will cost $180 - which is a fair amount cheaper than the $349 Apple is asking. "We have to reduce carbon emissions and it's something the every country has to be engaged in". Outside of graphics , Apple is also refreshing the screen on the iMac , making it 43 percent brighter than the previous generation. After all, we don't want demonstrations from angry 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar users. At the conference for developers WWDC , Apple introduced a powerful iMac Pro. This larger model additionally comes with improved graphics and more video memory, and the 13-inch MacBook Pro now has a £1,249 option. (more...)

The rating has been reduced by one level from A1 to Aa3 and they describe the outlook as "negative" meaning that a further downgrade is likely within two year. The move brings Moody's in line with rival Fitch, which has had an equivalent A+ rating on China since November 2007. Chinese authorities had been trying to shift away from debt-funded property and infrastructure investment as the key drivers of economic growth towards a more consumer-focused economy. (more...)

It denied claims by the GMB union that problem could be linked to the company outsourcing its IT work. Even letting the long term damage to the company's reputation slide, British Airways will likely have to pay in excess of 61 million euros in compensation for the 800 flights that were canceled. Now, when asked about the GOP health care bill, 45 percent feared their costs would go up, 34 percent were anxious about their ability to get and keep health insurance, and 34 percent were concerned that quality would suffer.
