The long-haul low-priced operator will operate four-times weekly on the route, rising to to five-times weekly during the northern winter season between October and March. More than 1.2 million passengers travelled on the route in 2016. Official U.S. oil data is expected to be published later on Wednesday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA). In London, June Brent crude LCOM7, -0.84% on the ICE exchange also fell 53 cents, or 1%, to $55.36 a barrel. Any increase in output in the United States, now the world's third-biggest oil producer, will likely put pressure on the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) - which agreed to curb output at the end of a year ago - to cut production further. The Airline Passenger Protection Act, sponsored by Republican state Representative Peter Breen, came after Dr. David Dao, 69, was pulled from a United flight at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport to make space for four crew members. Other airlines said they were examining their policies. High-speed trading firm Virtu Financial Inc. reached a deal to acquire rival KCG Holdings Inc. for $1.4 billion in cash, a tie-up that would create an electronic trading giant responsible for around one-fifth of volume in US equities. Following the close of the transaction, Virtu Chief Executive Douglas Cifu will lead over the combined company. The IMF's estimate compares with the World Bank's 6.9% projection for GDP growth this year, and is higher than the 6.4% given by the Asian Development Bank. The report said the increased growth forecasted for China reflected stronger-than-expected policy support. "This improvement comes primarily from good economic news for Europe and Asia, and within Asia, notably for China and Japan", IMF chief economist Maurice Obstfeld told a press conference on Tuesday.
