Apple forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $45.5 billion to $47.5 billion, largely above Wall Street's average estimate of $45.71 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. It was followed by Huawei with 17.4 percent and Vivo with 12 percent. These services account for $6 billion in revenue which translates to 18.9% of their company's profit, ranking second to iPhone sales. (more...)

At 11:08 a.m. ET the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 10.64 points, or 0.06 percent, at 18,484.39. The decline in the Dow was due to McDonald's, which fell $5.69, or 4.5 percent, to $121.71. The S&P/TSX composite index was down 10.78 points at 14,539.22 after almost two hours of trading. And the company didn't disappoint. That's better than the $6 billion in revenue that analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expected from April to June. Indeed, services are becoming so huge for Apple that Tim Cook said: "We expect it to be the size of a Fortune 100 company next year".
