Owners of Samsung's Galaxy devices can join the beta "right now", Sweeney said. Naturally, a big Fortnite Mobile reveal during the Note 9 launch is still to be expected, however, thanks to this leaked footage it now appears that the timed exclusive could very well be for all Samsung Galaxy devices, or at least the most recent ones, with phones like the Galaxy S9 and Note 8 , as well as Galaxy Tab S3 tablet potentially also getting in on the Fortnite Mobile action. To make things even more interesting, we now have another leak that puts Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL front and center. From the unboxing video (mirrored above from a Russian tech blogger's Telegram account) and the additional images we can see that the Google Pixel 3 XL box contains the previously noted Pixel Buds-style USB-C earphones, a 3.5mm adaptor, a USB adapter, and a USB-C cable. It's no secret that Google will launch Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones in the coming months, but the exact release date has proved elusive. It didn't immediately respond to requests for further information Monday. The new battery feature is probably meant as a tool to help users identify if friends are safe and well, as well as a way of knowing how much life might be left in a lost phone, although Google has not commented directly on the feature. The other India-specific feature being tested now for the Google Maps is the real-time bus transit information tool. Click on location sharing from the menu. (more...)
