Maharashtra hikes one-time registration tax on vehicles

In Maharashtra , the tax is in the range of 9% to 11% for petrol-driven cars based on the cost of vehicle and it is from 11% to 13% for those plying on diesel. The state government hopes to add ₹700 crore to its kitty from the new tax. "If a hefty tax is collected from auto buyers, the money can be used to strengthen our public transport system", he said. "We now recommend to leaders to confirm this at summit", she tweeted after meeting Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida in Brussels . Some speculated that Xiaomi was looking to use some of Nokia's patents so it can penetrate foreign markets like the USA but there have been no official statement on that. The partnership will give Xiaomi some boost for its own chipset, though now the market is dominated by players like Qualcomm, MediaTek. Xiaomi shared GeekBench 4.0 CPU multi-core benchmark and GFXBench Manhattan off-screen benchmark performance test results as well, which reveal that the Surge S1 beats the Qualcomm ... (more...)

Overall, the HTC Ocean Life device sounds like a pretty interesting device for a mid-range smartphone. Given all other devices in the U line, we also expect it to be an S-LCD panel, but this is purely speculation on our part. It basically allows you to open an app of your choice just by squeezing the smartphone. In the camera segment, there will be 16MP front and 16MP rear camera. (more...)

Titled Evil Genius 2 , the development of the project started this spring so it's in a fairly early stage of development. "We'd like to make this super-duper clear", wrote Rebellion in a press release. The company went on to confirm the sequel will come to PC, though there is a possibility it will also come to consoles or mobile: "Our focus now is on a PC release, but as ever we'll look at other platforms and see what fits and what doesn't". The ride is free for a destination within a 15-mile radius of the pickup location and will be available thru 4 a.m. Call a friend or family member for a ride home if you've been drinking. The Moto E4 Plus comes with a much larger display of 5.5 inches and larger battery capacity of 5000mAh. It makes sense for them to be real, too, as the company has previously promised to launch a whole 12 new mods this year - so it certainly has some catching up to do. (more...)

In order to increase performance, large turbochargers push an increased volume of process air into the combustion chambers. The key to that level of performance is its 690bhp engine; and, in this lightweight two-seater version of the 911, that's enough to get it from 0-62mph in just 2.8 seconds and go on to a top speed of well over 200mph.
