Attorney General, Jeff Sessions , warned sanctuary cities that The Federal Government would withhold grants and other forms of funding to these cities if they did not cooperate in enforcing federal immigration laws. He urged such municipalities to "comply with federal law". The executive order already faces legal challenges, including a lawsuit filed this week in Seattle. (more...)

As a result of the incident, the firm had halted self-driving operations in the area. The crash prompting the company to suspend its autonomous driving program occurred on Friday and resulted in Uber's vehicle being flipped on its side, while the other involved auto suffered moderate damage. The Seoul Central District Court approved the prosecutors' request for an arrest warrant for Park early on Friday after she gave about eight hours of testimony. Koreans have seen their leaders sent to prison before. Park can be detained up to 20 days while being investigated on the allegations. A recorded telephone conversation between Park's then-presidential aide Cho Won-dong and CJ Group Co-Chairman Sohn Kyung-shik in July 2013 was revealed through earlier investigations. (more...)
