PSVR bundle priced at $499, still cheaper than an Oculus Rift

The price of the PlayStation 4 VR solution is still lower than that of both the Oculus Rift, which is being offered starting this month, and the Vive created by HTC and Valve, which is coming starting in April. Fortunately, it's also a cost-saving deal that gets you everything you need to enjoy a full virtual reality experience on your PlayStation 4. Google said it could allow a video-playing app to continue to run while a person opens a different app. Google is plotting ways to replicate, with Android , Apple's tight control over messaging on the iPhone. Sony's blog announcement for the VR headset reads , "We expect to have more than 50 games available from launch in October 2016 until the end of the year". The Sony VR has a latency time of 18 milliseconds between the user's head movement and the right image projected on the display. Supermassive Games announced that it is developing Tumble VR, a virtual reality version of its 2010 Tumble game, which used the PlayStation Move controller and stereoscopic 3D. (more...)

"What this is about is making sure that the 30 percent you see is the best 30 percent possible", Instagram co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom told The New York Times yesterday, adding that the change would be rolled out "slowly and deliberately", and with the user community's participation. But the Idol 4 and Idol 4S are only two of an expected four Idol-branded devices that the company is planning in 2016. Presumably, there were enough fixes to warrant an OTA. Nearly after a week releasing Android N Developer Preview, Google has released the first update for it. Android K was codenamed Key Lime Pie while in the development stage and during the general release they changed it to KitKat, and Android L was codenamed Lemon Meringue Pie before it eventually changed to Lollipop.
