Mumbai: RBI has asked banks to preserve CCTV recordings of operations at bank branches and currency chests to help law enforcement agencies in identifying people engaged in hoarding of new notes post demonetisation. On December 12, the Union Finance Ministry asked all public banks to maintain record of deposits made through old Rs 500/1,000 notes and other valid currencies. (more...)

For months now, it's been understood that Russian Federation interfered with the United States' election. The media-shy Dylan finally accepted the 8 million Swedish crown ($870,000) prize for literature , after frustrating the academy with weeks of silence following the announcement of the award on October 13. They seemed to have found a place in the lives of many people throughout many different cultures, and I'm grateful for that.
