Every Twitter for Android user was notified about the security hole which affects users on versions 8 Oreo and 9 Pie. Twitter said the vast majority of users had updated their Twitter for Android app and were no longer vulnerable. Twitter said anyone still affected by this flaw would get an in-app notification "to let them know if they need to do anything". Twitter was hit by a massive cryptocurrency scam last month. (more...)

For today, the single engine was enough to lift the Starship SN5 to an altitude of 150 meters over its Texas test facility, where it hovered for a few seconds before coming safely down to land. When SpaceX first began launching rockets into space , they had an ambitious goal - boosters that were reusable. Should Musk's vision be realised, Starship will be capable of landing and ascending vertically on either the Moon or Mars, deliver supplies and cargo, and even carry upwards of 100 passengers. Tweaks to the display's various layers are also present, and Weinbach says there will be a new "under-metal cushion" layer that should provide extra rigidity. (more...)

Apple mentioned that this new 27-inch iMac will be starting at $1,799 and you can order it today in the US. Apple has also upgraded the FaceTime HD camera with 1080p resolution and studio-quality microphone array. Otherwise, you can settle for a 6-core or 8-core processor from Intel's Comet Lake family. While Tenet is another example that will still be heading to theatres eventually, in late August here in the United Kingdom if all goes well, it will will be interesting to see how Mulan fares with this new release plan. Star already has a general entertainment service called Hotstar - available in India as Disney+ Hotstar - but Chapek didn't refer to it as that, which suggests that this will be a new service.
