Apple iPhone 12 to enter mass production next month

A new report for DigiTimes , as flagged by 9to5Mac, noted that iPhone 12 "volume production" is expected to start next month, which translated into at least one of the four iPhone 12 models getting released in September after all. In addition, it will have another two iPhones (Pro models) with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. According to a report by DigiTimes , the Corporation completes the second stage of testing a new mobile device. (more...)

"Narratives around COVID-19 primarily praise China's response to the virus, and occasionally contrast China's response against that of the USA government or Taiwan's response, or use the presence of the virus as a means to attack Hong Kong activists", they wrote in a report . Chivalry II is now in a Closed Alpha on PC via the Epic Games Store , with a full PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release expected later this year. Yes, you read that correctly. With the game now confirmed for consoles and crossplay, it seems we can expect a broad battlefield full of numerous players if all goes well. Unlike the more pillar-like look of the Xbox Series X or the hybrid design of the Nintendo Switch, the PS5 appears to be sticking to conventional console designs. What did we learn about the design today? So, that's what we got. It had vents all over the place, and so does the final console. We assume that there will be more ports on the back part. (more...)

Yeah, clearly, this is not a process as smooth as installing Google's first beta on an eligible Pixel. In the meantime, we have a new version of Android to dig into. These also appear on your lock screen, and alerts from these people can override Do Not Disturb. Samsung also opened up the beta to the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 a year ago so it may do the same for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 this time around. (more...)

Twitter has begun prodding its users to read news articles before retweeting them in an attempt to "promote informed discussion" and stop misinformation. It's not clear whether Twitter plans any wider rollout for its prompt urging people to read articles before sharing them. Kayvon Beykpour, Twitter's head of product, said: "It's easy for links/articles to go viral on Twitter". (more...)

The interview comes after The Times reported last week that British Prime Boris Johnson was considering increasing state funding for domestic telecoms companies, such as Vodafone and BT, so that they can better compete in the 5G sector, as part of London's current efforts to diminish Huawei's involvement in building the UK's 5G infrastructure.
