Apple Debuts New Second-Generation iPhone SE

The first iPhone to have this new design was the iPhone X in 2017. It has 1334×750 pixels, and packs modern features such as True Tone colour, support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 playback, and Haptic Touch. Despite the iPhone SE's noteworthy features, this is the first time the company has launched a new phone without in-person events, due to the coronavirus pandemic and associated lockdown measures. TCL Communication to discontinue sales of BlackBerry devices

TCL has taken to Twitter to announce that it will make no more BlackBerry-branded hardware from 31 August this year. 31st August 2020 is the last day that TCL will be manufacturing and selling BlackBerry smartphones. I'm kind of having a hunch that maybe BBK Electronics, the house of many big Chinese smartphone brands, will be taking in BlackBerry too. Will Blackberry itself start making phones again? The KEY2 is still on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is now two generations out-of-date. (more...)

Google's Nest Cam plan only applies to United States users for now and we're told you'll get a notification within the Nest app when the changes have been made. Google says you can simply bump the quality back up if you wish, as they're simply changing the default quality setting. The European Union said it will scrutinize Google and Apple's proposed contact-tracing technology to ensure it meets the bloc's new standards governing the deployment of COVID-19 apps.
