Delta computer outage included 'small fire' at data center

The trouble from a six-hour system outage in Atlanta on Monday is still causing problems nationwide for Delta Air Lines. Social media was flooded with photos of people curled up with blankets on terminal floors. That caused delays and cancellations to snowball. Delta senior vice president Bill Lentsch said in a written statement Wednesday morning that the airline "is in the final hours of bouncing back from the disruption". (more...)

According to rumors, the LG V20 will feature a dual screen. The company recently announced that the V20 will be powered with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC in order to offer superior audio experience than its predecessors. It looks like the official Dota 2 forum has been targeted by hackers as the site was apparently breached last month, with almost two million user records accessed, which include email addresses, passwords, IP addresses and usernames. The three most popular email domains exposed were Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo, with only 24,335 entries for users with Outlook.com emails. 1 of 3 Apple building burglars arrested

It is unclear if the suspects were able to break into the building, located at Bubb Road and Results Way, but the trio reportedly fled by vehicle to San Jose once discovered. Apparently the sheriff's department spotted the burglary in process and chased the three in their auto to San Jose. The suspect, identified as Richard Bejarano, was arrested north of the highway, according to sheriff's officials. (more...)

Windows shattered on bus carrying Rio Olympics media, possibly by gunfire

Security is being stepped up after a coach carrying journalists between Olympic venues in Rio came under attack last night. A journalist from Estado de Sao Paulo said that military cops did not bother inspecting the bus before declaring it had been stones thrown, which he thought improbable as they were a long way from houses and they all seemed to come from exactly the same position.
