The UK's Chief Scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, said the data suggested that, for every thousand people over the age of sixty infected with the original strain of the virus, ten would die. The varying mortality rate is accounted for when observing everyone who has tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus - but the hospital data alone didn't show an increase in the rate of mortality, BBC reports . Even if antibody levels fall, B cells will remember how to make them when necessary, according to study leader Michel Nussenzweig of Rockefeller University, whose findings were reported on Monday in Nature. As of Monday, the CDC reported 122 cases in 20 states in the United States.
