"We now know that most of those who have had the virus, and developed antibodies, are protected from reinfection, but this is not total and we do not yet know how long protection lasts", Susan Hopkins, senior medical adviser at PHE and co-leader of the study, said according to Reuters. It said side effects "were usually mild or moderate and got better within a few days after vaccination". Currently, there are 200 active cases of the virus in the city. Thirty-eight more Albertans have died from the disease. Hinshaw reported 38 deaths linked to COVID-19 on Tuesday. (more...)
