The government also set money aside for borrowers with a maximum of 10 employees and for those requesting loans under $250,000 located in low- or moderate-income neighborhoods. It has been confirmed today at 1,582 people are now being treated for Covid-19 in hospitals here, with 146 of those ICU. Another 1,112 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the region in the past 24 hours. Earlier in the day when the variant case was reported, Dr. Theresa Tam gave an update about the COVID-19 numbers in Canada. Nine new deaths were reported Saturday, lifting the county's toll at 1,086.
