Small businesses can start applying for new PPP loans on Monday

The government also set money aside for borrowers with a maximum of 10 employees and for those requesting loans under $250,000 located in low- or moderate-income neighborhoods. Business owners who already got one PPP loan can now apply for another. The loans are available to both new and existing PPP borrowers, according to a press release. (more...)

"I'm not sure we've found everyone who attended those three venues yet", Dr Young said. The company said it expects to report a net loss of $2.2 billion for the quarter ended November 30, compared with the FactSet loss consensus of $1.59 billion. According to President and CEO Donald Arnold, bookings are projected to be ahead of 2019 numbers. Carnival's Costa brand, which operates in Italy , is scheduled to restart operations on January 31. In the last week, Ireland has had 10,100 confirmed cases of coronavirus per million people, according to data from the Johns Hopkins University in the US. Perhaps not. Perhaps we would have stayed at Level 5 for a while longer. For now, Mr Martin said he's encouraging people to wear masks at all times in public. (more...)

Another 1,112 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the region in the past 24 hours. There are now 13,628 active cases within the province, with 851 in hospital and 135 in ICU. Khan, a member of the opposition Labour Party , also wrote to Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson asking for more financial support for Londoners who need to self-isolate and are unable to work, and called for masks to be worn in crowded outdoor spaces as well as indoors. She said after fighting the virus all year Queensland was again battling "this terrible pandemic". However, he said 96 travellers from Queensland into Victoria breached restrictions put in place in line with the Greater Brisbane lockdown and are now in home isolation until at least Monday evening and are being tested.
