The person did not wish to be identified because Clemson had not disclosed the reason for the postponement. That led Florida State to grow concerned that he had possibly been contagious and spread the virus to other Clemson offensive linemen who did not yet know it but could spread it to Florida State players. About 1,500 Mayo Clinic employees are on work restrictions throughout the midwest due to coronavirus exposure, medical diagnosis, or are caretakers to a sick relative. The hospital system is already facing a shortage of staffers, and all of the ICU beds at its main Rochester, Minnesota, campus are full. Immune responses from vaccines tend to lessen as people get older as the immune system gradually slows with age.
