On Sunday, Quebec reported 879 new cases , bringing the total to 100,114 cases in the province. She says an average of 1,010 patients with COVID-19 were being treated in hospital each day over the past week, about 20 per cent of whom were in intensive care units. (more...)

The death was reported in Florida . The majority of the cases tied to the outbreak (seven) have been in MA, while two people have been hospitalized in NY, and one person in Florida has died. A specific type of deli meat and common supplier have not yet been identified. Listeria infection is known as listeriosis . Clean refrigerator shelves, kitchen countertops, utensils, and other surfaces that may have come into contact with deli meats. (more...)

The county now sits at 1,650 total cases, with more than 200 cases still active in the county. Philadelphia reported an increase of 287, accounting for almost 14% of the state's cases. There have been no further deaths associated with the virus in the past 24 hours. It brings the total number of confirmed cases in Ireland to 57,128 while the country's death toll remains at 1,882. 315 patients are now hospitalised with Covid-19, including 16 additional hospitalisation in the last 24 hours. A new pilot project between the provincial and federal governments will begin next month and offer an alternative to the current 14-day quarantine requirement for worldwide travellers. Kenney said it's hoped the pilot project can be expanded to Edmonton's airport early in the new year. Dr. Deena Hinshaw made the announcement at her Thursday COVID-19 update, where she revealed 427 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the province. (more...)

It remains unknown how a 17-year-old living in Incheon, the first case, died on Oct 16, two days after getting a free flu shot . Most of the nine deaths were of individuals aged 65 or over or with underlying health conditions. Most of the deaths happened in elderly people, who are covered by the country's free vaccination scheme. The Southeastern port city of Pohang announced Friday that it will cease administering flu vaccines for a week. (more...)
