Daily infections in Victoria peaked at 725 on Aug 5 and have been trending lower in recent days, following the imposition of a hard lockdown in Melbourne on July 19. In New South Wales, 22 new cases were reported, of which 16 were locally transmitted. Mabiour is expected at Red Deer Provincial Court on Wednesday. Deng Mabiour of Red Deer, Alta., is charged with the first-degree murder of Dr. Walter Reynolds, a 45-year-old father of two. Ontario is reporting an increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases after recording a almost five-month low yesterday. The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services has reported a staff member testing positive for COVID-19. The remaining people with COVID-19 are recovering at home in self-isolation. Since June 8, Whitley County has had 153 additional cases diagnosed. Hidalgo County is now administering free COVID-19 walk-up testing at Payne Arena, located at 2600 N. (more...)
