The CDC is seeking put out seeking comments from the public on "cruise ship planning and infrastructure, resumption of passenger operations" and some additional specific questions related to cruising in the age of COVID-19. About one-third of middle-aged adults had not fully recovered, and for those aged 50 and older, the rate was nearly half. According to the South Korea's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Saturday, the figures brought the national caseload to 14,092, including 298 deaths. TUC general secretary Frances O'Grady said: 'Abuse of shop staff is never acceptable, but verbal and physical abuse rose during the pandemic, and the new rules requiring shoppers to wear masks may further risk staff safety. The rules will be enforced by the police, rather than shop workers and only "as a last resort". Those exempt from wearing masks for medicalreasons can obtain a card from the charity Hidden Disabilities, which they can show if challenged over not wearing a mask. (more...)

Hinshaw said one out of every 50 diagnosed cases between the ages of 30 and 39 have needed to be admitted to hospital while one out of every 10 diagnosed cases of those between the ages of 70 and 79 have died. Finally, one in four cases in people who are 80 or over results in death.
