On Wednesday, Pfizer Inc's shares gained as much as 5.6 percent in NY, while BioNtech shares jumped by as much as 19 percent in Germany. On Wednesday night, Pfizer stock also gained 4.4% to $34.13. It was first detected in China late a year ago. More than 12 states have so far paused or rolled back reopening plans to control spikes in new cases. (more...)

In the last week of June, the county has averaged 17.42 cases per day, almost double the threshold. "Continue to use face coverings and practice social distancing if you are in public", Lake Health District. Of those cases, there have been 23,781 recoveries and 717 deaths. (more...)

There have been 989 test-confirmed cases in Vancouver Coastal Health, 1,553 in Fraser Health, 132 on Vancouver Island and 201 in the Interior Health region. It requires ongoing monitoring, modifying our activities as needed and actively managing any new cases that emerge.
