In a later update to CBC News, the Department of Health said the employee is required to self-isolate as a precautionary measure and close contacts are being tested. Polk County has a record-breaking 116 new COVID-19 cases reported on Friday morning, bringing its total closer to breaking 2,000. This reflects when confirmed cases are reported to the state.
