The second largest concentration is in Winter Haven which had 364 cases as of Friday morning. Neighboring Howell County and Taney County Health Departments report cases rising in the last few weeks. The county's new high positive rate does not appear related to a significant jump in the number of tests administered. Officials reported an adjusted total of 2,026 confirmed cases. (more...)

Mason County reports no new cases on Thursday. There were 1633 new cases in the county as of Friday, according to the health department. There were also five new deaths confirmed Wednesday that occurred between June 3 and June 14. There was another increase in local COVID-19 cases as indicated in Thursday's report from the Indiana State Department of Health.
