Street artist Banksy has unveiled his latest creation on display in the corridor of a hospital. The nurse, wearing a cape, face mask and a white apron featuring a red cross, has her arm raised as if she is flying. After lockdown measures are lifted, the piece - which is approximately one metre high and one metre wide - will be put on public display. There are now 2,255 cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in B.C., after health officials announced 23 new cases Wednesday. The daily count hasn't been that low - fewer than 10 - since March 12 when seven cases were announced. Also today, B.C.'s Opposition Liberal party is calling on the NDP government to suspend the provincial sales tax, the hotel tax and the employer health tax for up to three months to help the economy recover from COVID-19. The Israeli Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) is now looking to secure a contract with an worldwide manufacturer for the commercial development of the vaccine. There are no details on a "vaccine", however, and it is not clear if any human trials have been attempted. The scientists had been working for four years to develop a vaccine for IBV (Infectious Bronchitis Virus) which affects the respiratory tract, gut, kidney and reproductive systems of domestic fowl.
