Mary Agyeiwaa Agyapong, who worked at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital in Luton, just north of London, tested positive for COVID-19 on April 5 and was hospitalized two days later. PNC Financial Services (NYSE: PNC) reported its Q1 2020 earnings results for the quarter ended March 31, 2020. Its results will be viewed as a harbinger of things to come as the outbreak disrupts the global economy. The company said the crisis hit sales in its medical devices unit as hospitals delayed elective surgeries and procedures but lifted revenue in its consumer division as customers stockpiled essential medications. Texas County officials confirmed four more positive COVID-19 tests on Wednesday, April 15. The hospital has 12 patients under investigation for COVID-19 and has discharged 33 people who had the disease to date. The positive results are for three Guymon residents and one Texhoma resident. The health department says none of the new cases are hospitalized. No new inmate deaths have occurred at Duane Waters leaving the total at one, per MDOC. (more...)
