In the US, the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the biotech company Moderna have created a potential vaccine that is being tested in humans. Other projections have been even more optimistic, with Oxford University vaccinology professor Sarah Gilbert telling the Times of London that in a best-case scenario her team could have a vaccine ready by fall 2020. On Sunday, Revera said two residents of Stoneridge Manor had passed away with COVID-19. Officials also said that 35 healthcare workers have tested positive for the virus.
