In a statement posted on its Twitter account, the Rwanda FDA said Chloroquine , Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin were not yet approved for treating the virus. "Let's see how it works". Hydroxychloroquine is used for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus. The number of deaths in NY state due to the coronavirus outbreak has crossed the 1,000 mark, with Governor Cuomo warning that thousands of people will pass away before the crisis ends in America's current COVID-19 ... Despite that, 1600 people went into quarantine on Sunday. "States and territories will determine whether they proceed to make this an enforceable limit in the same way that the 10-person limit is already been enforced, but agreed that in all cases this is the strong advice", Mr Morrison said. The province's total of confirmed positive cases now sits at 1,118. Canada's Deputy Chief Public Health Officer said there are many cases of COVID-19 under investigation, people awaiting lab tests or not being tested at all. The Ontario government issued the order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act on Saturday night in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus. (more...)

BBC reported England's animal shelters have been receiving numerous requests by cat owners to find new homes for their pets due to fears an infected coronavirus sufferer might have handled their cats. 'There is no evidence to date that the virus is being transmitted from pets to humans or other pets, ' Belgian officials say. Belgium's National Council for Animal Protection (CNPA) also told the paper that there is no known threat from pets . (more...)

Bloomberg News reported Friday that Rhode Island state police could be seen checking for NY license plated cars driving northbound on the Interstate-95 near the CT border.
