Canada's Deputy Chief Public Health Officer said there are many cases of COVID-19 under investigation, people awaiting lab tests or not being tested at all. BBC reported England's animal shelters have been receiving numerous requests by cat owners to find new homes for their pets due to fears an infected coronavirus sufferer might have handled their cats. 'There is no evidence to date that the virus is being transmitted from pets to humans or other pets, ' Belgian officials say.
