Thousands of football helmets recalled after reports of cracking

Online retailers Eastbay.com, Footlocker.com, SafetyFirstSports.com, SportsUnlimitedInc.com and Xenith.com sold the helmets from May 2015 through March 2016. While Xenith says there haven't been any injuries reported, the crack could pose a serious risk of a head injury. They were sold through team dealers and direct school sales along with several other retail outlets. (more...)

It's pretty clear that Microsoft believes in Xbox Scorpio, Xbox One's new more powerful Xbox console, announced at the end of company's E3 conference last June. Isn't the future of gaming so bright and cheery? As those refreshes happen, it's likely we'll see a similar situation to smartphone games, where each game will have different levels of playability on older devices depending on how much they make use of a new console's features. Pauline Cafferkey who has family roots in Rannyhual near Kincasslagh is alleged to have concealed her temperature when she was screened at Heathrow on her return to the United Kingdom in December 2014. If the charges are found proved, she could be struck off. The incidents are alleged to have happened when she returned to the United Kingdom in December 2014 before she headed back to her home in Cambuslang. (more...)

"This case of West Nile Virus in a blood donor reminds us that the virus is present in our county". Eliminate all standing water near your home, and change pet drinking water containers frequently. Report locations where stagnant water has been sitting for more than a week, such as ditches, flooded yards or other similar places that may produce mosquitoes. (more...)
