Florida's caseload of Zika spread by Miami mosquitoes has risen to 25, and USA health officials continue to warn pregnant women to avoid the infection zone despite the governor's assurances that the area of concern is shrinking. The most common symptoms of Zika virus disease are fever, rash, joint pain and red eyes. Most of the would-be visitors to Florida seem undeterred by the Zika news. (more...)

It appears likely that state officials will certify a petition to legalize recreational marijuana for the November ballot, but that doesn't mean voters will get to decide the issue this year. If passed, Proposition 205 would allow people 21 and older to possess up to one ounce of marijuana and consume it in private. Marijuana would have an added 15 percent tax going mainly to schools and be regulated similar to alcohol. (more...)

The limited amount and quality of marijuana available for research has been regularly cited as a key barrier by scientists in establishing once and for all that it is less risky than drugs like heroin, cocaine, and even alcohol. Saunders was notorious for hosting " SportsCenter " and, the Sunday morning show " The Sports Reporters ". The exact cause of his death is unknown as of press time, but Saunders is survived by his wife, Wanda , and daughters, Aleah and Jenna . (more...)

According to a recent study, bacteria levels on water bottles can reach similar numbers to those found in a toilet. Americans throw away 35 billion plastic water bottles every year. Our germ-ridden bottles are caused by a lack of washing (loads of us go days without properly washing out our bottles, assuming that putting water in there must keep them clean), sweat, and all the daily germs you encounter on a daily basis.
