At 1520 BST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.06%, the S&P 500 fell 0.09% and the Nasdaq dropped 0.20%. S&P 500 e-minis were up 2.5 points, or 0.11 percent, with 126,326 contracts traded. South Korea's Kospi added less than 0.1 percent. The stock fell 91 cents to $49.20. Stocks in Taiwan and Singapore also were higher, but markets in China, Indonesia and New Zealand declined. The chase ended in a shooting with officers on Highway 16 at Buffalo Shoals, where the auto was halted by stop sticks and crashed into a utility pole.
