Pierce County saw 32 new cases of acute hepatitis C in 2016. The CDC report said intravenous drug use is the primary risk factor for new infections. They found this increase coincided with the "rising heroin and prescription opioid epidemics in the United States". Between 2 million to 4 million people in the USA have hepatitis C , Skorney said. The ransomware is believed to be linked to National Security Agency hacking tools that were leaked by a group that called itself the Shadow Brokers, according to Avast, a Czech security company that is following the fast-moving attack. Blackpool Teaching Hospitals tweeted that it was having "issues with our computer system", asking people not to come to A&E unless it's an emergency, while North Staffordshire and Barts Health Trust in London have also said they've been hit by the ransomware. It seems that avocado hand is so commonplace, the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons wants to warn people about the safety risk , with one doctor suggesting a safety label to be placed on avocados. The girls were handed over on Saturday in exchange for Boko Haram suspects after negotiations. A campaign representative said that it was awaiting confirmation on how many girls had been released. A person in Democratic Republic of Congo who died of a haemorrhagic fever has tested positive for the Ebola virus, signalling the start of a new outbreak, the health ministry and the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday. The new case suggests that Ebola is back in the Democratic Republic of Congo-raising the specter not just of the 2014 outbreak that sickened 66 and killed 49, but the much larger (unrelated) outbreak that swept through West Africa between 2014 and 2016.
