Amazon has previously refused to confirm or deny growing speculation that it is preparing to roll out its full suite of retail services in Australia as early as 2017. Amazon emphasised the investment and job opportunities that would flow from its move into Australia. Amazon Fresh, which is the company's grocery offering and now only available in the USA and United Kingdom, will not part of the initial Australian launch, but could come in the future. (more...)

The search for murder suspect Steve Stephens put authorities in surrounding states on the lookout Monday after police said the man might have left Ohio. He fled and the troopers gave chase. "They had their guns out but when he shook his head, they lowered their guns". Acting on a tip, Pennsylvania State Police spotted Steve Stephens , 37, leaving a McDonald's in Erie and went after him, bumping his vehicle to try to get it to stop, authorities said. A pit stop at a Pennsylvania McDonald's drive-thru lead police to the suspect in a Cleveland slaying that was recorded and posted on Facebook. Mr. Hernandez was in a single cell in a general population housing unit. He attempted to block the door of his cell from the inside by "jamming the door with various items", authorities added. The NCAA also announced that LCA will host first- and second-round games of the 2021 Division I men's basketball tournament and the 2022 Division I wrestling championships. "The PPL Center will provide a fun tournament atmosphere for the NCAA Men's Hockey regionals in Allentown". The number on Switzer's first marathon bib, 261, also became a rallying cry among women runners that led her to form 261 Fearless , a non-profit running club for women that has chapters all over the U.S. But this year, at the age of 70, she ran it again, finishing in 4 hours, 44 minutes, 31 seconds - only about 25 minutes slower than when she was 20. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, advised that a non-tropical low pressure system, dubbed Invest 91L , is located over the central Atlantic Ocean about 700 miles southwest of the Azores Islands. While subtropical lows do get some of their energy from warm ocean water, the cooler water isn't enough to sustain them, and they require upper-level wind flow support, similar to the low pressure systems that drive weather systems on land.
