According to the Chicago Tribune , Brookins suffered a broken nose, a fractured skull and some of his teeth were knocked out as a result of the accident. He's taking some time to work from home because he "still look [s] like Frankenstein" but is expected to make a full recovery. But Brookins had no idea just how "aggressive" squirrels could be. The drug company's shares plunged 13 percent before the opening bell Wednesday. Shares of Biogen Inc , which is developing a similar drug, tumbled 11 percent. As reported by New York Post, one of Gooding's co-worker recalled the incident and said, "There was hissing and sizzling... he wanted to take it out of his pocket..." He said it looked like he had a pocket full of firecrackers. In the video, Gooding is seen patting his leg, and reportedly burned his hand. The scientists had hoped that the Alzheimer's drug Solanezumab would destroy the rogue proteins in the brain and slow the progress of the degenerative disease. Indeed, parrots, dolphins, and killer whales could be the next ones to be tested, because other researchers have already taught these species to "do as I do". As this alone doesn't provide evidence of episodic memory, the researchers trained 17 dogs to imitate human actions using the same method, followed by another round of training whereby dogs were trained to lie down after watching any human action.
