Madison Bumgarner threw his slider just 12 percent of the time in Wednesday's wild-card game, his lowest rate in a start since September of 2010, and Mets hitters didn't miss one of their swings against it. And Bumgarner's thoughts on the Cubs pitching staff's hitting ability: "The last thing you want to do is give up a hit to another pitcher..." Ruth Travis, the study's lead author, said: "We found that women who had worked night shifts, including long-term night shifts, were not more likely to develop breast cancer , either in the three new United Kingdom studies or when we combined results from all 10 studies that had published relevant data".
