Senator Mitch Fifield, Minister for Communications, announced that "Thunderbird's are go" at NBN's Sydney headquarters this morning and pointed to the benefits broadband connectivity would bring to Australians in regional and remote areas. The first Sky Muster satellite experienced a "temporary outage" last week which was blamed a failed software upgrade. The scan and physical exam revealed that Mike's tumor had resumed growth and the cancer has spread. Baker said that the tiger will be put down when the time comes so the LSU mascot doesn't suffer. The new guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) urge men who have been exposed to Zika to wait longer before trying to make their partner pregnant - even if they have no symptoms. Currently, there is no vaccine or medicine for Zika virus. "We can't stop women from becoming pregnant ... but we mustn't panic". In December, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services sent a letter to Theranos stating that the company's blood results with its Edison machines, which had been used in Walgreens clinics, were extremely troubling. A study conducted by independent researchers in March found that Theranos' results were more unreliable than those of conventional tests. Theranos itself has acknowledged problems with its blood testing technology and invalidated thousands of test results earlier this year. (more...)

Ryan Grassley's wife, Lidia, gave birth to their second child, Samuel, on September 4 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.
