It said around 400 cases a year are in women aged 25 to 29. Among this group, rates rose from 12 cases per 100,000 women in 2004 - 6 to 18.5 cases per 100,000 in 2015/17 - a 54 per cent increase. This helps identify those with the highest risk of developing cervical cancer so they can get the right care.
